The circle, it goes round and round...
We began the new year with the first in a series of assemblage workshops designed to focus, refresh and “center”! With 99% recycled materials, we created individual tributes to the reassuring nature of the circular in our world. Participants brought items of personal meaning to our gathering, perhaps things that have lived in drawers for years. These were built upon with additional design components that best reflected the importance and beauty of their chosen objects. We were women, connected, busily “making” on a rainy morning. We spoke of family, friends and the basic need to he heard and stay connected with what’s important. Everyone left the studio with something beautiful, some a bit surprised that making something lovely could feel so good.
